Mrs. Jensen

I am Mrs. Jensen, I have taught 8 years for Cache Children’s Choir, 6 years for my own private preschool- Little Cahoots Preschool Academy. This is my 5th year at Lincoln teaching kindergarten.  I attended Utah State University and received my degree in BS in Elementary Ed/Early Childhood with a minor in Music.  My family enjoys going on road trips to Bear Lake, Jackson, and Park City. We enjoy watching movies together and eating out.  We also enjoy making music together and all play various instruments and sing. I enjoy reading Regency novels, watching chick flicks, and listening to Taylor Swift.  I play many instruments including cello, flute and piano and also enjoy singing.

I am Mrs. Ritchie, I have been a Para in Special Education for four years. This is my first year as a classroom teacher.  I attended Utah State and Western Governors University and received my degree in Elementary Education.  I love to spend time with my family. We love to go camping and hiking. We love to play games and watch movies together. I love to watch my kids play soccer! In my spare time I love to sew and quilt.

Hello, I am Mrs. Christensen! I have just graduated in elementary education from Utah State University, and I am so excited to be a first grade teacher at Lincoln Elementary! I grew up in Hyrum and actually attended Lincoln! The classroom that I will be teaching in was actually my 2nd grade classroom back in the day! I have also been a reading aide at Lincoln Elementary and always have loved how passionate the staff is on helping each child succeed in their education. Outside of teaching I love to go boating, paddle boarding, and skiing. I also love watching movies at home with a bowl of popcorn!

I am Mrs. Floyd, while I lived in California I taught 4 years in a general education classroom and 10 years at a charter school, working with home-schooling families. This is my 10th year teaching in Cache County School District.I received my degree at Utah State University in Elementary Education. I love to spend time with my family and go on vacations where there are temples, beaches, and/or professional baseball teams. I love to read books, mainly classics.

Mrs. Backus

I was born and raised in Arizona.  I moved to Cache Valley in 2009 and absolutely love it here.  I have a wonderful husband, three sons, one daughter, three daughter-in-laws, a son-in-law, three grandchildren, and a very spoiled Labrador Retriever.  Some of the things I enjoy doing are cooking, going on nature walks, and having barbecues in the backyard with friends and family.  I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University with an endorsement in ESL and STEM from SUU and BYU.  I've been teaching 2nd grade at Lincoln Elementary since 2015.  I have a strong passion for teaching and I love the 2nd grade curriculum!  I am very committed to providing students with the best possible school experience.

I grew up in beautiful Oregon and knew from a young age that I wanted to teach.  After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, I met and married my wonderful husband and we fell in love with and settled here in Cache Valley.  We love to hike, bike, and camp with our children.  I am excited to join the great family at Lincoln Elementary and to be a 2nd grade teacher to the best 2nd graders in the universe!

Mrs. Munsters

Mrs. Munsters grew up in Western Massachusetts before her family moved to Cache Valley where she graduated from Mountain Crest.  She studied Food Science at Utah State University.  Then she had the opportunity to stay home with her 6 wonderful children for the next 12 years.  Recently, she has been an EL aide at Canyon Elementary and loved it so much that she decided to go back to school to become a teacher.  Mrs. Munsters' kids have been attending Lincoln for over 10 years and she knows and loves Lincoln so much.  She also loves to bake, read, and camp with her family.  She is so excited to get to teach 2nd grade at Lincoln!

Mrs. Baird has wanted to be a teacher for as long as she can remember. She believes there is nothing more fulfilling than helping children learn!  During her years in school, she was an instructional assistant, para, and substitute teacher.  She attended both BYU-Idaho and Utah State.  After moving to Logan, she fell in love with Cache Valley and could not be more excited to begin her first year teaching third-grade at Lincoln Elementary.  She enjoys traveling, singing, playing flute, and running , but mostly spending time with family and friends.

Hello, my name is Mrs. Treasure and I am so excited to start my first year at Lincoln Elementary! Hello all, my name is Miss Bartschi and I am excited for this to be my second year teaching 4th grade at Lincoln Elementary! I graduated in December 2022 from Utah State in Education with a minor in Mental Health Awareness and Advocacy. I have a deep passion for continuous growth and lifelong learning! I've been teaching since 2016, and I still love it! I have experience teaching 3rd, 4th, and 6th grades. I attended Southern Utah & Utah State  for my undergrad in Elementary Education w/ emphasis in math, and completed my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction through Western Governors University.  I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and 2 daughters, watching movies, listening to a wide variety of books, and doing yoga. Hi, my name is Anne Yardley.  I grew up on a farm in Gunnison, Utah.  I have been working in the Education field for the past 4 years.  During that time, I have worked as a Spanish Translator, Special Education Aide, and a Site Supervisor for the Lincoln After School program.  I received my Bachelor's degree from Utah State University and am currently working on my Master's degree in English Language Learning.  I love doing anything outdoors, including: horseback riding, hiking, skiing, and scuba diving.  I also love to read and am excited to be a part of the Lincoln Family.

Hello, my name is Mrs. Griffiths and I have taught my whole career at Lincoln Elementary.  I love it here, in fact it is one of my favorite places.  I taught 2nd grade for 4 years and now I teach 5th grade.  I have 4 children, 2 girls; Jessica and Adrienne and 2 boys; Hayden and Joshua.  I have two of the most beautiful granddaughters.  I graduated from Utah State University with my teaching degree, I have since added my STEM endorsement and I am now working on my ESL Endorsement.  I love school, it is my happy place!  Some things that I enjoy are reading, cooking, sewing and creating in general.  If you want to make me happy a Diet Coke will bring a smile, in fact my classroom runs on Diet Coke and laughter.

Hi, I'm Mrs. Hamilton.  I grew up in Mt. Sterling (between Hyrum and Wellsville). I attended Cache County schools and graduated from Mountain Crest High School. I have lived in Utah, New York, Nebraska, Spain, Italy, Texas and now permanently back in Cache Valley. I have 2 children (3 grandchildren) and 5 bonus children (3 grandchildren).  I graduated from Texas State University with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies Pre-K through 8 and a Master's Degree in Education Administration from Lamar University.  I have been in education for 19 years.  Teaching is such a rewarding career.  I enjoy music and singing with the American Festival Chorus.  I love the outdoors; camping, hiking, biking, skiing, spending time with my husband, family and two miniature schnauzers, Pollie and Emma.  I am so happy to be part of the Lincoln Leopards community.

I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a very young girl. I grew up in  California and moved to Utah when I was 12 years old.  I have a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education, and a Master's of Science in Elementary Education from Utah State University.  I have my ESL, Reading, and Early Childhood Endorsements.  I have my TESOL & TOEFL certificates.  My teaching Certificate is K-8.  I taught preschool & daycare for 21 years, taught Literacy for one year at a Middle School and have taught ESL for the past 11 years at Lincoln.  I love my job here at Lincoln!  I have been married to my husband, Thomas James for 40 years and we have 5 children and 5 grandchildren.  I love skiing, boating, hiking, camping, scrapbooking, reading, traveling and all things Disney.

I am Mrs. McBride, I've been at Lincoln for 13 years.  I started as a paraprofessional teaching reading groups then I taught math for two years.  I have been an ELL teacher for the last eight years.  I attended Utah State University and received my degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in music. My family and I love to spend time as a family boating and surfing.  We also enjoy exploring slot canyons, finding dinosaur tracks, and being out in nature. I have been teaching at Lincoln Elementary for a long time & I love it! My degree is in Special Education K-12 and Physical Education 6-12. I began teaching resource at a middle school in Brigham City for 9 years. Then I moved to teaching at Lincoln and have been here for 14 years. My family and I live here. All my children have gone to Lincoln, but now they are older and are at different schools. I love helping kids to learn and be successful. What a joy it is to teach your wonderful children!

I graduated from USU several years ago with a B.S. in Elementary Ed. and Special Ed.  This has allowed me to have a great mix of teaching experiences in general education (2nd-7th grade) and special education (resource-life skills).  I have also studied music and enjoy teaching music to children and performing.  I enjoy traveling and have been to 48/50 states and have lived in 8 states.  My greatest joy these days is spending quiet days in my garden, reading, and enjoying time with my family.

Miss Emily

Hello! My name is Emily Robinson (a.k.a. Miss Emily). This will be my third year working in Cache County School District! I grew up in Paradise, Utah.  I graduated from Utah State University with my Bachelor's degree in Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education and with my Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology - Go Aggies!  While in school, I participated in research regarding neuroscience and childhood language disorders.  I was Miss Cache Valley in 2018 and performed lots of service throughout our community during that year.  During that time, I fell in love with educating and working with children.  I love to play board games, read, bake and decorate sugar cookies, do craft projects, listen to Taylor Swift, go to Disneyland, and ballroom dance!  I owned my own ballroom company, Top of Utah Ballroom, for three years.  I decided to hang up my dance heels in 2022 to focus on my career!

Hello there!

My name is Dianne Kartchner, and I am so excited to be the Library Media Specialist here at Lincoln! I’ve always loved books, and ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to be a teacher or work in a library. Now I get to do both! I have degrees in English and elementary education, and I love sharing my passion for reading and writing with students. It’s wonderful to combine my two favorite things—books and teaching—as we learn all about library media skills together. When I’m not at school, you can find me enjoying many different hobbies. I’m a big fan of Disney, Broadway musicals, and I love traveling to new places. I also enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, and camping. And when I’m at home, I like to relax by quilting and gardening.
